Call Me Absurd

aside from the obvious facts that a) NBA players are paid in the range of millions that they are paid just because, and b) this is of course largely due to contracts and timing, c) IT IS MORALLY OBJECTIONABLE THAT LUKE WALTON (LUKE WALTON!) MAKES SIGNIFICANTLY MORE PER YEAR THAN DEREK FISHER.  I am personally insulted on Fisher’s behalf regarding this situation (not to mention that Fisher has the lowest salary so far for next year of any Laker - say what you want about his age necessarily driving down his market value, which is an entirely different argument that I would attack since HIS VALUE SURPASSES HIS AGE AND ALSO HAS BEEN ENHANCED BY IT AS HE CAN NOW FULFILL THE ROLE OF SAGE VETERAN, but at the essence of it all, he is THEIR EXPERIENCED, STARTING POINTGUARD, for heaven’s sake!) LAKERS MGMT SO MONETARILY ILL-PRIORITIZED HAAAATE.
